They blend deep-rooted heritage with cutting-edge digital innovation, offering seamless online and mobile banking, robust fraud-prevention measures, and personalised services empowering customers at every stage of their financial journey.</p><p><strong>Cashier / Teller - Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting visitors warmly, minimizing wait times, and quickly resolving routine queries.</li><li>Process financial transactions—cash, cheque and electronic deposits/withdrawals, transfers, passbook updates and cheque preparation—accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Handle and reconcile cash daily: maintain precise till balances, prepare banking lodgements, and investigate any discrepancies.</li><li>Maintain cash tills in sterling and multiple foreign currencies, including processing staff and customer travel money orders.</li><li>Handle the purchase and sale of foreign currency notes and travellers’ cheques.</li><li>Replenish and manage ATMs, ensuring optimal cash levels and accurate transaction records.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and regulatory requirements (FCA Conduct Rules, anti-money laundering, financial crime prevention, data protection).</li><li>Promote bank products and digital services—recognise cross-sell opportunities, refer customers to specialists, and demonstrate self-service tools.</li><li>Support vulnerable customers by identifying needs, notifying Member/Customer Services, and ensuring appropriate safeguards.</li><li>Assist with branch operations and administration—from audits and custodianship tasks to account openings, mail, and diary management.</li><li>Uphold branch standards by keeping your workspace clean and organised, operating within mandate limits, and living our brand values.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><p><strong>Compensation details (£££ High level package on offer)</strong></p><p><strong>Whole Package Approximate Yearly Value – £42,000.00 – £45,000.00</strong></p><p><strong>Financial Cash Elements</strong></p><ul><li>Cash yearly salary of from £32,000.00 to £33,600.00</li><li>Cash yearly bonus of up to 12.5% – 20% - £5,000.00 – £7,000.00</li></ul><p><strong>Financial Non-Cash Elements (Pension, Insurances, etc)</strong></p><ul><li>High Pension contribution of up to £5,000.00 per annum – Pension % based on annual basic salary (all paid by the bank – not you)</li><li>Life assurance</li><li>Income Protection & Group Income Protection cover</li><li>Private healthcare for employees’ spouses and family</li><li>Private dental insurance</li><li>Medical cover including covering dental treatment/check-ups, optical care, physiotherapy, etc.</li><li>Annual flu vaccinations</li></ul><p><strong>Career Development</strong></p><ul><li>Structured induction and continuous learning to build your career.
