Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Dispatcher

 

No two days are exactly the same, but you’ll always know your work matters.

  • Schedule and adjust customer appointments using PestRoutes
  • Optimize technician routes to ensure timely, efficient service
  • Communicate closely with Inside Sales and Branch Operations Managers
  • Proactively manage schedule changes due to availability, illness, or demand
  • Contact customers to reschedule appointments when needed
  • Provide visibility into branch availability and sales opportunities
  • Support sales reps and branches on a case‑by‑case basis
  • Stay ahead of scheduling needs, openings, and bottlenecks
  • Attend DCM meetings and collaborate cross‑functionally
  • Build systems that keep schedules running smoothly—even on days off

 

 


Qualifications

You don’t need pest control experience -we’ll train you. The right mindset is what matters most.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Solution-oriented and adaptable
  • Confident, dependable, and quick to learn
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
