Rx Savings Solutions, part of McKesson's CoverMyMeds business segment, offers an innovative, patented software system that educates and empowers consumers to make the best healthcare choices at the lowest cost. Founded and operated by a team of pharmacists and software engineers, we support a collaborative, cost-saving solution for purchasing prescription drugs.
We are looking for a talented, success-minded Pharmacy Technician Call Center Rep to join our call-center team that helps our members take control of their prescription costs. If you have healthcare call-center experience or retail pharmacy experience and exceptional customer service skills, you can help us make a difference in people’s lives. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits located in Overland Park, Kansas (40-hours per week, Monday thru Friday with no weekends!).
Our Pharmacy Technicians answer questions from how to lower out-of-pocket cost on prescription medications to providing directions on how to transfer prescriptions between retail pharmacies. Using their skills as a retail pharmacy technician, they spend most of your time providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers by educating our members with how they can better navigate the pharmacy world to lower their prescription cost via inbound and outbound calls. Outbound calls will be made to existing customers simply to provide them with more detailed information about our products and services.
** The current shift we're hiring for is Monday thru Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The first 60 days (approximately) are considered training days and during those first 60 days you'll work 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This role requires on-site presence at our corporate headquarters office at 435 & Nall during the training days. We then offer a flexible, hybrid work scenario with some ability to work from home after the onboarding period.
Job Duties:
Answer incoming calls from Company members/customers
Assist members with directions to identify and realize savings opportunities highlighted by the Company software system
Assist members on all issues related to processing of pharmacy claims
Coordinates internal resolution of customer issues
Make outbound calls to members who request service via the Rx Savings Solutions online portal
Make outbound calls to members through an auto dialer
Assist with research projects relating to pharmacy pricing
Educates members on benefits of Rx Savings Solutions services
Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management
Required Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma/GED or higher is required
PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (must gain within 6 months of employment)
Required Work Experience:
3+ years of relative experience including pharmacy experience in a retail setting, and/or customer service or call center experience in the healthcare space
Communicate in a professional manner with our members and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve
Demonstrate ability to work with confidential information and in a deadline driven environment
Ability to effectively navigating a computer
Working knowledge of Outlook and Excel (if no experience but willing to learn, we’ll be happy to teach you)
Nice to have…
