Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified SAP Integration Consultant with deep expertise in SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering end-to-end integration solutions, Application Management Services (AMS), production support, and implementation projects across SAP and non-SAP environments.
This role requires strong technical leadership in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions while ensuring seamless connectivity across cloud and on-premises applications.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Implementation
- Lead and deliver full lifecycle SAP integration implementations using SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI.
- Design, develop, and deploy integration scenarios between SAP and third-party systems.
- Build, configure, and manage interfaces using IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST APIs, OData services, and EDI integrations.
- Design integration architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Execute Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration / SAP Integration Suite)
- Design, develop, and maintain iFlows using SAP CPI.
- Configure and manage adapters including SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST, OData, JDBC, and other integration protocols.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and exception handling frameworks.
- Develop robust error-handling mechanisms and support proactive issue resolution.
- Work with SAP BTP Integration Services and related cloud integration technologies.
SAP PI/PO
- Develop and support integrations using Enterprise Services Repository (ESR) and Integration Directory.
- Create and maintain message mappings, graphical mappings, XML mappings, XSLT mappings, and Java mappings.
- Configure communication channels, adapters, and integration components.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of interfaces.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of integration solutions.
Application Management Services (AMS)
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for enterprise SAP integration landscapes.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Support application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance with SLA requirements.
- Coordinate support activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Production Support Operations
- Provide L2/L3 support for production integration environments.
- Monitor interface performance and proactively resolve integration failures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and operational incidents.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with business users, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and external partners.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical integration solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and integration strategy planning.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and operational procedures.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior team members as needed.
- Work effectively with distributed global teams in a remote environment.
Required Skills & Experience
Core SAP Integration Skills
- Strong expertise in SAP PI/PO.
- Strong expertise in SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Architecture and Middleware Solutions.
- Extensive experience with APIs, REST, SOAP, IDocs, RFCs, Proxy Services, and OData Services.
- Experience implementing and supporting EDI integrations.
- Exposure to SAP BTP Integration Services.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration design patterns and best practices.
- Experience working within hybrid landscapes consisting of cloud and on-premise applications.

Expertise in security protocols and authentication mechanisms including:
- OAuth
- SSL/TLS
- Certificates
- Secure communication frameworks
- Experience designing and implementing error-handling frameworks.
- Strong understanding of middleware architecture and integration governance.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 13+ years of SAP Integration experience (15+ years preferred).
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end implementation projects.
- Strong AMS and production support experience.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Experience collaborating with remote and global teams.
Mandatory Certifications
Candidates must possess a valid SAP Certification in one or more of the following:
- SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration (SAP PI/PO)
- SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite
- SAP BTP Integration
Certification is mandatory for consideration.
