Sr. Account Manager, Transport & Logistics Technology

<span class="jobdescription"><h2><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">JOB SUMMARY:</span></h2> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Sr. Account Manager, Transport & Logistics Technology is a hunter-led growth role responsible for driving net-new revenue through the acquisition of new customers across transportation, logistics, and supply chain markets. This position carries no existing account base, and is primarily focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new-logo opportunities. </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">In addition to new customer acquisition, this role owns the ongoing growth and expansion of the accounts they bring in, developing those customers into long-term, high-value partnerships through upsell, cross-sell, and solution expansion.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The role focuses on selling advanced tracking and visibility solutions, including solar-powered asset trackers, cellular and sensor-enabled smart labels, and a cloud-based tracking system platform that deliver real-time shipment intelligence across global supply chains. </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This position requires a self-directed, results-oriented sales professional with strong transport and logistics domain expertise and a proven ability to build pipeline from the ground up. The Sr. Account Manager drives outbound prospecting, develops and executes targeted account strategies, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to deliver value-based solutions that improve shipment visibility, reduce operational risk, and enhance end-to-end supply chain performance.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Success in this role is measured by pipeline creation, new customer acquisition, account expansion, and consistent delivery of net-new and incremental revenue.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Desired locations: </strong>Office/Hybrid based in San Jose, Atlanta, Dulles, VA <strong>or 100% Home office based</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Travel:</strong> up to 50%</span></p> <p> </p> <h2><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Bring deep industry expertise in transport & logistics, leveraging prior experience with IoT tracking technologies (trackers, sensors, smart labels) to accelerate G+D’s growth strategy and support expansion goals in North America region.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Acquire and grow large transport & logistics accounts by selling IoT tracking solutions (trackers, smart labels, visibility platforms).</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Serve as the primary business contact for key accounts, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Represent customer needs internally and coordinate with operations, customer service, and technical teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Drive repeat business and account expansion through relationship‑building and consultative selling.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Promote G+D’s IoT Solutions portfolio and leverage global reference customers to strengthen value propositions in the logistics sector.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records in line with industry sales best practices.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h2><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"> QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">5+ years of B2B sales experience in logistics, transport, IoT, telematics, or supply‑chain technology, with a proven record of hitting or exceeding sales targets</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Deep industry knowledge of transportation, warehousing, freight operations, and supply‑chain workflows</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to pitch complex solutions and close high‑value enterprise deals</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Experience selling IoT tracking devices, GPS trackers, smart labels, sensors, or visibility solutions with strong industry knowledge in transport and logistics IoT sector</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, PowerBI) and strong pipeline/forecast management.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">High urgency, self‑motivation, and ability to work independently to drive fast deal cycles and support aggressive growth targets.</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">The pay range for this position is $125,000 -
